My Role

I played a vital role in the Re-Housing Recovery Strategy development project, leading the team in implementing project lifecycle and agile methodologies to ensure the project's success. I facilitated regular team meetings, provided guidance and support to team members, acted as a liaison between the project team and other stakeholders, managed project risks, and ensured effective communication channels.

Evolution

In Los Angeles County, thousands of vulnerable people experience homelessness every day, facing even more significant challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Recovery Re-Housing Strategy was a project that was implemented to provide permanent housing placements and long-term housing stability for 15,000 of Los Angeles County's most vulnerable residents experiencing homelessness, ensuring their safety and health. We worked closely with key stakeholders, including the Department of Health, Mental Health, and Public Health, to create differentiated service pathways and ensure the continuous assessment of individuals' needs. By combining project lifecycle and agile methodologies, we were able to stay flexible and adapt to the ever-changing circumstances of the pandemic.
